Libertadores' biggest upsets in the 21st century

Flamengo's incredible turn against River Plate to win their second Libertadores Cup was certainly historic. But what are the others that happened in the tournament in this 21st century?

Flamengo x River/ 2x1- 2019

River Plate continues until the 43rd minute of the second half in the first decision in the single game in the history of the Libertadores - and takes the third title since 2016
Behold, after Lucas Pratto's mistake, the red-black counterattack was lethal, with Gabigol drawing. Three minutes later, Diego's launch found shirt 9, which got rid of Pinola to make history.

Grêmio X River / 1x2-2018

Grêmio had won at Monumental de Núñez 1-0 and beat River at Arena by the same score until the 36th minute of the second half.
Classification sent to the decision in search of the bi followed and the Libertadores tetra? Nothing like that.
River equalized in the aforementioned minute, after Pitty Martínez, fired at the break, took a shot on the head of Borré - who also had the collaboration of Paulo Victor.
Before the tie, Bressan had replaced Paulo Miranda, who had cramps in the 24th minute, and, without touching the ball, got a yellow card.
Behold, at 41, the VAR was triggered catching Bressan's hand touch inside the area after Scocco's kick. Penalty and a new yellow card for the defender, who was sent off.
After a long interruption, with Bressan leaving the pitch in tears, Pitty Martínez scored at 49, shutting down the Arena and guaranteeing the then improbable classification of River to the final
River would be champion against rival Boca Juniors at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Lanús X River / 4x2- 2017

If Flamengo frustrated a second championship followed by River last year, in 2017 it was Lanús. Millonarios had won the first leg 1-0 and triumphed at La Fortaleza 2-0 with just 22 minutes - goals from Scocco and Montiel.
Only Lanús did what was unlikely: they scored the four goals they needed. Sand twice equalized in the first half. Acosta turned in the 16th of the final stage, and seven minutes later, Alejandro Silva made the fourth.
Lanús made history by securing their first Libertadores decision. But he would stay with the vice when he was overcome by Grêmio de Luan in the same La Fortaleza.
