Marvel Cinematographic Universe

April 25th of 2019. A day that changed all cinemas perspectives. The day Avengers Endgame went to the movie threats. A movie that the whole world was expecting since his announce. The end of an era, a story that started been told 11 years ago. After all that time, in the day July 20 of 2019, Avengers Endgame became the biggest ticket office of all time.

But, only a few people know that the MCU has a particular story, because they wasn’t always rich as they are now, actually that is the biggest reason for his creation, so yes, once Marvel needed money.

In 1996, Marvel comics was drowning on pay builds, to be more specific almost 600 million dollars. Then, with no place to go, Marvel sold the cinematographic directs of their most famous characters, like Spider-man, which went to Sony, the X-Men and the Fantastic 4 to Fox. Marvel was ready to close their doors, until…

In 2002, Sony announced Spider-Man, with Tobey Maguire. Receiving more than 870 million dollars. With all of that money, our friend Marvel grown their eyes. Therefore, with more than 500 million dollars, the Marvel Studios was create. In 2008, The Iron Man went to the cinemas, raising 585 million dollars. The Hulk was not the best movie ever, but still was received a lot of money. Everybody loved the new marvel movies. The Iron Man 2, Captain America and Thor.

We all know that since the success of Iron Man, all of those heroes would join in one movie. That was the smartest thing that Marvel did, they connected their movies in only one universe the Marvel Cinematographic Universe. In April 2012, The Avengers went to the movie threats. Well, the numbers talked by themselves more than 1.5 billion dollars. It was an explosion in cinemas; everyone was talking about that movie. It marked the end of a phase.

Thor-the dark world, Iron Man 3 and Captain America-Winter soldier   marked the second phase of Marvel, and of course another success. This phase ended with Avengers Age of Ultron and Aunt Man. In addition, of course we should talk about the Guardians of the Galaxy that reached more than 700 million dollars in cinemas.
The phase 3 was open with the biggest war of all time Captain America Civil War, in my opinion the best solo movie in Marvel (if we can call that solo). In the end of 2018, Marvel announced Black Panther, a movie that has many reflections about discrimination today. The third phase ended with one of the biggest movies ever, Avengers Infinity War, with more than 2 billion dollars received.  

The fourth phase started with a big movie, Spider Man Home Coming, the start of a new era for spider man, because since 1997 their rights belonged to Sony Pictures, but now, his owner is Marvel again. His back was a success. And before the endgame Captain Marvel went to the movie threats, for many people was not a great movie that everybody was expecting, but was good also.

April 25th of 2019, we are back in that date. A movie that me as a writer, do not have words to describe it. A movie that changed my way of seeing movies. A movie that will mark forever, people’s lives. Avengers Endgame is the best hero’s movie I have ever seen and I am sure that it will be for a long, long time.
